Hampshire Kitesurfing Centre
Our Kitesurfing school was setup in 2004 under the name ‘Southampton Kitesurfing Centre’ after a year of trading we decided to move our setup a few miles east which was under a Portsmouth postcode so we decided a name change was in order to ‘Hampshire Kitesurfing Centre’. We have expanded year on year since and we now have a team of BKSA qualified instructors that love to teach (and love to ride after work!). The business is now incorproated and has become Hampshire Kitesurfing Cerntre Limited on the 2nd of March 2020.
Our centre is based at Hill Head in Solent Road and is open from the 3rd week in March to the period just before Christmas each year. We meet at Breezes Café. We have the use of their facilities and they can provide excellent food & refreshments to you after your lesson(s).
We choose to buy new Kites and boards every year as we feel it’s what we would want if we were learning again, so for your lesson you will be using the latest and most up to date kites and boards on the market from leading brands.
We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and enjoyable experience, although you will be getting talked through technical wind, weather and equipment theory and practical it will be delivered by a friendly and experienced instructor who enjoys their teaching and wants you to progress.
